Visit the Keleketla! and Chimurenga stall at the Jozi Book Fair

Keleketla! Library will also be presenting at this year’s NGO/CBO Fair hosted by Khanya College as part of their 2010 winter school. The presentation will be a brief reflection on our past, present and future projects as an organisation. To get an understanding of what this unique organization is all about, we invite you to join us on the 6th of August 2010 to see the presentation.
Keleketla! Library also invites your kids to join us on our exciting three-day children’s programme during the Khanya College Winter School. The three day programme includes an on site miniature library, paper mache artworks, audio recording project, theatre sports and many more intriguing and exciting activities.
The children’s programme runs concurrently with the Jozi Book Fair. At this year’s book fair Keleketla! will be sharing a stall with Chimurenga magazine. Come to our stall for:
- First public viewing and selling of hand printed post-cards made with Berlin collective, Pony Pedro
- “Future” books made by Keleketla! kids with Dutch collective, The Tillburg Cowboys
- Current and past issues of Chimurenga, Vol 15: Curriculum is Everything as well as Chimurenganyana’s
- Flick lounge for trailers and short films
